West Cork Chamber Music Festival is delighted to team up with Bantry Bay Boat Hire and The Ewe Experience for some special Festival offers for our audience.

Private Sea Safari with Bantry Bay Boat Hire

Book a private tour of Bantry Bay for up to 8 people with this special offer for West Cork Chamber Music Festival attendees.

This is tour aboard our RIBs which will enable us to explore approx 21 nautical miles of Bantry Bay area and around the historic Whiddy Island. Suitable for 10 year olds and older.

One of our skilled skippers will take you to sights of interest while teaching you about the habitat of the beautiful wildlife we come across. We would expect each trip to encounter dolphins, porpoises and seals. You will also see the caves and visit the Viking Steps which can only be accessed by boat.

Depending on the season sightings of humpback and minke whales have been recorded but are not as abundant as the dolphins in Bantry.

The trip lasts about 2 hours and covers almost 25km of coastline.

You have the option to disembark on Whiddy Island and get the ferry back for free. Why not stop for lunch here or maybe a few drinks on the waters edge.

You can also chose to end your trip in Glengarriff. We drop you off to the Blue Pool Pontoon. Explore the food markets or have a pint in the sun outside the Blue Loo. Return to Bantry via the Local Link bus departing Glengarriff Monday- Sunday 12.04pm, 3.14pm or 6.26pm. The bus takes 25 minutes to get back to Bantry.
