Welcome to the third year of the West Cork Chamber Music Fringe Festival!
In 2019 our ten free performances saw artists play further afield in a selection of West Cork towns and villages including Ahaskista, Castletownbere, Schull and Skibbereen. There were also daily pop-ups around the town of Bantry and a Choir workshop.
See our programme of 2019 Fringe events below. You can opt to view our 2019 Full Programme, Masterclasses, Fringe Events and/or a listing by Artist by selecting the relevant tabs.
You’ll also find more information about our 2019 Fringe Festival, including a summary of Artists, at the bottom of the page here.
Bringing world class classical music into the community for non-festival goers to enjoy for free!
Thanks to Francis Humphrys for helping to supply the artists. Thanks once again to Chris O’Neill and all at OPW Garinish, Susan McManamon for organising the choirs, and to all our fringe hosts especially our new 2019 hosts at Fastnet Film Centre, Heron’s Gallery, Sarah Walker Gallery and Uillian: West Cork Arts Centre along with Mannings Emporium, Bantry Library and St Finbarr’s Church. A big thanks also to Neill Clarke for all of his help, our main sponsor OPW and new sponsors Bantry Business Association, Bantry Chamber of Commerce, Keohane’s Seafood and Warner Centre Rentals.
