Sonic Quartet

Formed in August 2023, the Sonic Quartet has performed as Young Artists in festivals such as the Belfast Music Society International Festival of Chamber Music, West Wicklow Festival, West Cork Chamber Music Festival, and Westport Festival of Chamber Music. They have received masterclasses from esteemed quartets such as Pavel Haas Quartet, Chiaroscuro Quartet, Endellion Quartet, Schumann Quartet, Signum Quartet, and the Belcea Quartet. They made their international debut on a tour of the USA in November 2024, where they performed in San Francisco, Miami and in a live radio broadcast recital in the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Series presented by Classical Music Chicago in partnership with 98.7 WFMT. This year, they work directly with Garth Knox on his quartet Satellites during Knox’s residency at RIAM’s ChamberFest Dublin. The members of the Sonic Quartet are currently studying at the Royal Irish Academy of Music where they are mentored by Professor Sarah Sew.
