Instruments: Bow Makers | Makers

In September 1995, at the age of sixteen, I began my apprenticeship with my brother Jean-Pascal in Marseille, where I stayed for five years. I obtained my degree in bow-making in Mirecourt in 1998.  In 2002, I opened my own workshop in Paris to focus on crafting bows of my own creation and restoring old bows for various luthiers, dealers, and international collectors. In the summer of 2024, after more than 20 years spent in Paris, I returned to the Aix-en-Provence area to settle there and dedicate myself exclusively to the creation of my bows. All my bows are entirely handmade, as is the tradition in France. My work is influenced by the great French masters of the 19th century, to whom I add my personal touch. My bows are played worldwide by orchestral musicians, chamber musicians, soloists, and collectors.
