James Harpur has published 10 books of poetry and won many prizes, including the UK National Poetry Competition and Michael Hartnett Prize. His latest books are The Gospel of Gargoyle (published in November 2024 by Eblana, a specialist art press in Ballydehob, in a high-quality numbered edition, with artwork by the artist Paul Ó Colmáin) and The Magic Theatre (published by Two Rivers Press in February 2025). He is a member of Aosdána and lives in West Cork.
