Angelo Tijssens is the co-writer of director Lukas Dhont’s award-winning feature films ‘Girl’ and ‘Close’. The Edges is his debut novel and has been translated into French, German, Spanish and now English. It won the jury prize at the Prix Roman Gay in France and was shortlisted for the Bronzen Uil in the Netherlands. He lives in Antwerp. The Edges was translated into English by Michele Hutchison and published by Daunt Books in January 2025. Michele is the translator of, among many others, Marieke Lucas Rijneveld’s International Booker Prize-winning The Discomfort of Evening. She lives in Amsterdam.
