Alice Kinsella

Alice Kinsella is the author of Milk: on motherhood and madness (Picador, 2023). She co-edited Empty House: poetry and prose on the climate crisis (Doire Press, 2021). Her debut full-length poetry collection, The Ethics of Cats, will be published by Broken Sleep in 2025. She is an Arts Council of Ireland Next Generation Artist. Together, Alice Kinsella and Daniel Wade wrote Wake of the Whale (Mayo Books, 2024) which was selected as a Sunday Independent Book of the Year. In 2025, they were selected for Druid’s artist in residency programme, FUEL, to develop Wake of the Whale for the stage.
