Agnès Clément

Instruments: Harp | Strings

Recently praised by the press as a “new international star” (Harp Column) whose “vigour of her tone and rich coloring of her sonorities, along with astonishing finesse and technical bravura, is nothing short of phenomenal” (Badische Zeitung). She presents a unique blend of freshness and sensitivity to her listeners.

Agnès Clément gained worldwide recognition as a soloist in 2016 when she won the First Prize, the Public Prize, and the Prize for Best Interpretation of the Contemporary Piece at the ARD Music Competition in Munich. Just recently, “she simply blew away the audience” and was awarded the Public Prize of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, thus joining the distinguished family of “Junge Elite.”

Agnès Clément holds the position of Principal Solo Harpist at the Orchestre Symphonique La Monnaie in Brussels since 2013, and in 2021, she joined the faculty at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels as principal harp teacher.
