Marja Gaynor

Originally born in Finland, Marja has been based in Cork since 2005. She has studied at the Cork School of Music and The Royal Conservatoire of the Hague. A specialist in Early Music, Marja as a member of Irish Baroque Orchestra and Camerata Kilkenny. She is a founding member of Giordani Quartet, specialising in early repertoire using period instruments. She was artistic director of the East Cork Early Music Festival 2013-2015 and has played with many leading Baroque orchestras outside Ireland.
