Marianne Lee grew up in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, in the heart of the Irish midlands. She studied visual communications at the National College of Art and Design. She has an MPhil in Creative Writing from Trinity College, Dublin. Marianne works as a freelance art director and copywriter.
She lives in Dublin with her husband. A Quiet Tide is her first novel and it was published by New Island in March 2020.
