Newly formed in September 2018, the quartet are scholars of the Royal Academy’s ASSET Scheme, a chamber music fast track course. They are mentored by Jon Thorne, and have been coached by the Doric String Quartet, Piatti String Quartet, Hartmut Rohde, and Levon Chilingirian.

The Hill Quartet is made up of four postgraduate students from the Royal Academy of Music: Bridget O’Donnell (Australia), Kath Roberts (England), Julia Doukakis (Australia) and Ben Michaels (England).
