We are saddened to hear the news that Val Manning of Mannings Emporium, Ballylickey passed away on Saturday.
Val was a much-appreciated supporter of West Cork Music from the very start, providing and serving a wonderful array of locally-produced artisan food at the opening reception of the West Cork Chamber Music Festival each year.
He was a wonderful ambassador for the Festival, sending brochures to his friends overseas. His sense of fun and zest for life made him a firm favourite with us all and he will be much missed.
We send our condolences to Laura, Andrew and Val’s extended family as well as our gratitude for Manning’s Emporium’s continued support of the Festival.
